Giselle Hilal, MACP, RP (Qualifying)

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

She/her

Hi, I’m Giselle, and I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, identity exploration, ADHD, autism, relationship challenges, burnout, and life transitions.

I know that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to feeling misunderstood, “too much,” or like you have to hold everything together on your own. My goal is to create a space that feels genuine, collaborative, non-judgmental, and grounding, somewhere you can show up exactly as you are without feeling pressured to have all the answers figured out.

My approach to therapy balances practical strategies with deeper exploratory work. I often integrate CBT, DBT, ACT, and IFS-informed parts-work to help clients better understand themselves, regulate emotions, process difficult experiences, and build a life that feels more authentic and manageable. I particularly enjoy working with neurodivergent clients and individuals exploring identity, self-acceptance, and relational patterns.

Clients often describe me as warm, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. I value humour, authenticity, and creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely seen rather than judged or pathologized.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy gaming, music, spending time with loved ones, and recharging with quieter low-key activities that help me decompress and reconnect with myself.
