Who We Are: Therapy That Understands You

Welcome to Willow Creek Counselling & Psychotherapy

At Willow Creek Counselling & Psychotherapy, we are committed to offering virtual therapy services that provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for individuals navigating life’s many challenges. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward, we are here to offer care that truly meets you where you are. We offer a flexible sliding scale so finances don’t stand in the way of your mental health.

Our practice focuses on working with individuals who are neurodivergent, particularly those with ADHD and Autism, with or without a formal diagnosis. We also offer support to those struggling with self-esteem, body image, disordered eating, and the lingering effects of perfectionism or people-pleasing patterns. We understand how these challenges can impact your daily life and sense of self, and we’re here to help you move toward a more grounded and empowered version of yourself.

The founder of Willow Creek Counselling is a Registered Psychotherapist with lived experience of having ADHD. This deeply personal insight allows her, and the practice as a whole, to bring an added layer of empathy, authenticity, and understanding to the therapeutic space. We know how important it is to feel genuinely understood, especially when you’ve spent a long time feeling like you don’t quite fit the mold.

Our therapeutic approach is evidence-based and tailored to meet your unique needs, experiences, and goals. We draw from a variety of modalities and always work through a lens that is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, anti-oppressive, and size-inclusive. Our sessions may include practical strategies, creative supports, and are always tailored to fit your pace and comfort. In short: we honour who you are, not who the world has told you to be. Our goal is to help you build self-trust, reduce shame, and reconnect with your own internal sense of worth and direction.

At Willow Creek Counselling, we believe that healing happens in relationship: with yourself, with others, and within the therapy space. Whether you're seeking to better understand yourself, unlearn patterns that no longer serve you, or simply find a place to be heard and supported, you are welcome here.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be ready to start.

We’re committed to accessibility. If you need accommodations during sessions, such as having the camera off, receiving written summaries, taking breaks, or requesting sensory-friendly options, just let us know. This helps neurodivergent, disabled, or anxious clients feel cared for right from the start.

Let’s work together to create a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with who you truly are.
